Welcome to the world of celebrity obsession. In this safest of spaces, we celebrate the infinitely vast world of fanart. We urge you to express your strangest and strongest devotions to your false & true idols. Fanart has long been viewed as a low form of art, but in our eyes it a self-expression that is pure in its intent and void of pretension. It is in equal parts intense and heartfelt, and that’s what we love to see here at Bad Art.

Fandom will be hosted by the wonderful LAS, located in Deptford, London

The preferred medium for this Bad Art is 2 dimensional works, paintings, drawings, prints, watercolours, collages.

There is space for sculptural works and performance, however the space will lend itself better to 2d works or pieces that can be wall mounted.

We will be accepting media and video works

As usual we will host a performance night, so we are looking for celebrity obsession performers! Special shout out to celebrity lookalikes get👏in👏touch👏

The exhibition will run from the 4th-7th of September 2025
